Bailey Update 3/25/12
Today was yet again another stepping stone into bringing Bailey back to himself. When I got to the farm he was standing quietly in his stall eating his lunch! Did I say QUIETLY! Yes! He was just so quiet munching away on his hay. I have not seen him that quiet in a very very long time. I took him out of his stall and worked him for a little while... to which he was very well mannered and listened to my every command. He is back to walking on a normal lead line, no more chain under his chin. He walks like a gentleman and might pull a hair now and then, but he is curious and wants to see everything!

Relationships
We've all had our fair share of both good and bad relationships. Both with friends and people who became more than just friends. I, myself, could probably write a best selling book on relationships and become an adviser on what not to look for in someone. I've always been the one who has had the long term boyfriend, yet this time around I find myself single. Single not by my choice.. but by someone else's choice. Everyone is entitled to their own path and choices and you can't force someone to be with you or love you, but you can simply be there when they need you. All to which I have done... all to which it has failed.

March Of Dimes - March For Babies - Christine's Walk
March of Dimes if well known for the fundraising they do to help the research done that benefits babies that may be under developing before born or those that are born prematurely. Next month brings about their annual March for Babies campaign and their efforts to raise more money to help out more babies. I however have a special connection this year's Western New York Chapter March for Babies, which is happening April 29th, my good friend Christine is doing the walk to help raise money for such a great cause. In her doing so, I have decided to use my power in social media and help her raise as much money for the March for Babies walk as she can.
Christine has her own information and donation page on the March for Babies site and is accepting donations as we speak. She isn't asking for a million dollars here (all though that would be very kind and generous) but any penny you can spare to donate to her walk would be very much appreciated. She has done this walk for several years now and holds this cause near and dear to her heart! So dig deep into those pockets (I know the economy is rough right now) and donate to a good cause. You never know when it may be you, your relative, neighbor, or friend that might one day need the March of Dimes for something.

Back To The Basics With Bailey
Well if anyone was paying attention back when I came home from Hawaii I kept talking about having to move my horses. Which I did so rather quickly on February 6th. I moved them not too far from where they were and to a place that I know they will be well taken care of and I'm comfortable knowing that a stallion will be handled the way he should be (not to mention she knows both horses from when they were babies). It alarmed me that when I would walk into Bailey's stall he would fly into the corner, shake, and throw his head in the air. I couldn't even so much as pet him on his forehead without him having a fit. Not only was that an issue, but he would race into his stall like he was in some big hurry to go no where but hide in the corner. It had kind of been in the works that I knew I had to move them both. But, it was a matter of finding a place who had people I could trust to properly handle a stallion. Well that place actually came to me and I couldn't be happier that it did.

Soggy Doggy Doormat - REVIEW & Coupon Code
I have always had the problem of needing to keep a towel at the door for the dog's paws. This has been more so the case since moving in July than it ever was, for some reason the lawn gets extra soggy by my front door and will occasional flood when it rains. I just kept a towel by the door and made the dogs walk onto it and stand on it, this didn't really do the job as I had to clean up muddy dog prints anyways. I am about to introduce you to the solution to my wet and muddy dog paw problem. (I do find the best products don't I?) This is a really smart idea and makes me wonder if someone from one of the vet tech schools invented it.

My Hawaiian Adventure & The Week After
I am finally now getting around to catching up on my blogging, up to and including this post that so many have been asking about. My Hawaii Trip! It was beautiful, magical, unbelievable all in the same sentence and also took a turn for the worst the last day there.
This trip was a gift, so to say, my good friend Christine won the trip through Bud Light Lime Snap Tag contest and I was lucky enough that she asked me to go. We counted the weeks, days, and then hours until we left and even did an airport check in at every stop. She had created a Facebook group for the winners (that we knew of) so we could arrange meeting each other. Quite a few of them were on our plane from Atlanta to Honolulu so we were able to spend time with them at the Atlanta airport. It was like meeting people you've known your whole life, but never met. We met some wonderful awesome and amazing folks from all over the country making new and probably life long friends just by the binding of all us being on the same trip. Of course there were a few people in there who rubbed me the wrong way, but I knew that was coming anyways.

Short Hawaii Story - For Now!
Well.. long story short (I will do a much longer post at a later date) I had the time of my life.. Hawaii is beautiful and the Bud Light Lime People treated us like gold! Needless to say Monday morning I received news that my Mother had been rushed to the ER sometime in the middle of the night Sunday going into Monday. She is still in the hospital and we are awaiting on the time for surgery, she has to have her gall bladder out. This could have been much worse than it was, but being 5000 miles away and not being able to get any answers from the Hospital, thank you so much HIPAA, I was going crazy.. it took a ton of phone calls, emails, and texts to get someone to answer my questions. Not to mention my 3 dogs had been alone for 12 hours and were going to be alone until I got home at 10 or 11am on Tuesday, but my Aunt Kathy (yes whom I was named after) and cousin Jason (the wedding post cousin) came through. They came and took care of my dogs, walked and fed all three, then even moved my car to my Aunt's house and she came to get us from the airport. See, my Mom was our ride home... I have come home to one cluster you know what after another since yesterday morning. So if everyone could keep my Mom in their prayers and thoughts it would be much appreciated. Let me mention I now have a brace on my left ankle too! Of course I will get more into that and the trip details at a later date.. but for the mean time let me leave you with a teaser of a picture from Waikiki Beach, Hawaii of the beautiful sunset I got to see every night from our hotel room...

While I'm Gone
Hello Everyone!! It's approximately 1am EST here... I am getting ready to get in the shower in a half an hour to get dressed and then off to pick up Christine and to the airport we go.. our flight takes off at 6:05am this morning. However... Count Down To Hawaii - Pro Bowl
If you haven't seen me tweeting about it or posting all over my Facebook you must not be paying close attention. The Count Down to Hawaii has begun! For those of you who do not know what I'm talking about, let me enlighten you!
One of my closest friends.. one of my besties.. Christine and I have been on a mission to get on that Bud Light Port Paradise Boat or to one of the big trips they give away! We huddled, crewed, did daily entries, sent countless snap tag texts, and well at one point chased around a Try It Rep(local bud distributor) trying to get us on that boat... well it seems that boat finally arrived, just in the shape of a plane going to a very warm tropical beautiful island. You see, Christine was one of the winners of the Bud Light Lime Pro Bowl 2012 Hawaii trip. YEP you guessed it I'm going as her guest, but had it even been reversed she would have been mine anyways, so it worked out in the end! I'm very excited to get to see Hawaii, I've never been to any of the islands. It has always been a "bucket list" trip... a trip I can now mark off that list...
