Master Lock 1534 Password Lock REVIEW & GIVEAWAY

Winner is:

Master Lock is the king of locks and with that being said they have every type of lock from key to number combination to even password locks. During Random Acts of Kindness Week in February Master Lock handed out their 1534 Password Lock to gym goers in select cities, not only did they do this they also had a week long sweepstakes that offered their Facebook fans the chance to win the same lock. If you weren't one of the lucky ones to be surprised by a lock at your local gym or won on their week long sweepstakes then now is your chance! At the end of this review my followers will have their own chance to win the Master Lock 1534 Password Lock!

Master Lock 1534 Password Lock was probably the easiest password lock I've ever had the pleasure of using. It comes with eight wheels, that each have a different set of numbers, letters, and symbols on them. You can choose among these eight wheels a word, phrase, number combination of your choice that is five wheels in length. For simplicity of this post I choose to use a word/number combo of Zero0, just so I could see how easy the lock was to set and then re open with the new combination.

The lock already comes set to a default password and opens up right away. Once you have the lock open you simply pull off the end cap and remove the wheels. Making sure to keep the red dashes in line with the Master word. From there you simply put the wheels back on with the letter, number, symbol combination you would like to set the lock to. Then simply snap the cap back on, close the lock and spin the wheels! WHAM.. you just set your password on your very own Master Lock 1534. How much simpler can this be? Creating your own phrase to use as your lock combination is 100 times more easier to me than having to remember some combination the lock came with. How many times have you forgotten a combination? I know I have... I had a lock stuck on my dresser drawer handle for years because I couldn't remember the combination! Now I no longer have that issue!

(Do you notice how many times I used "simply"? That is because it is just that - simple to set your combination)

Some of the many features of the 1534 are:

Product Features:

  • Easy to set & reset - use letters, numbers, symbols or mix them!
  • Interchangeable, removable dials offer over 25 million personalized combinations
  • 5 position combination allows for maximum customization
  • Soft touch dials with 2 grip points for no-slip grip
  • 2-1/2" (64mm) wide metal body for superior strength

  1. Hey Kathy; I could use one. My old lock works alright but we often go together to the gym - as a whole family and we need two licks. Thx for the giveaway.

  2. I always need a master lock around. We have a gate in our back yard that is not visible from our house, that we have to lock to keep people out. Unfortunately, we have had the lock cut several times.
