It is the unofficial start of the summer, but Memorial Day is really a remembrance day of those that have sacrificed their lives for this amazing country we live in. In 1967 this day was changed from Dedication Day to Memorial Day. If not for those precious sacrifices who knows what freedoms we would not have. Thank a Solider, Hug a Vet, and remember while doing all your BBQ, parties, and get togethers to say a prayer for the fallen who are not able to be home with their families on this day. Put a flag out and display it with pride!
