Yesterday was Day One of loading the UHaul truck. It was just a hassle getting the truck to be honest. We were shuffled around from office to office and finally one lady was kind enough to us and found the 26ft truck we needed. She had it moved over to the location closer to where we are now. Of course I didn't go to pick it up, my Mom and cousin Justin did. Oh yeah they were hassled at the location picking it up, stating it had to be back by 4pm tomorrow (which is today) My Mom argued NO, there is a confirmation letter for returning the 2nd or 3rd. He demanded she bring it down there, so right now that is where she is.... I tell you the customer service at UHaul has been horrible, the people have been so mean... and this is a company that is know for good CS.

Success with Sweeping & Twitter Parties
I've decided to share a little of what I've won over the past 10 months thanks to sweepstakes, instant win games, twitter RT contest, twitter contests in general, and twitter parties. I will later touch on the rules and regulations of some of these things and what my thoughts are on them...
In December of 2009 while signing into my PayPal account I noticed they had a snowflake game going on. So every night for a few nights in a row I would sign on and play the game. After about the forth night I signed in choose my snowflake and low and behold I won an iPod Touch 32GB. I honestly thought it was a fluke. A few weeks later my Mother gets an over night delivery from UPS, see she had entered the Dawn Wildlife Sweepstakes and had won! She wasn't quite sure what to make of this letter asking her to have some papers notarized. We were skeptical at first until she later confirmed that she was indeed a 1st place winner in the Dawn Wildlife Sweepstakes and had won $1000! WOW I thought imagine if you could win like that all the time? Was it possible? If so how would I even begin? Honestly it never went any further than that.. I had no idea where to or how to find things to enter, so it slipped my memory for a few months.

AQHA Judge Speaks Out
This article pretty much says it all, regarding what direction the AQHA as an industry is heading if these practices continue to be tolerated by top trainers and exhibitors

Where do I begin? Everyone knows we are in the middle of the very slow process of buying a short sale. Why we are stuck on this particular house, I'll let you know why. It is a one floor home, 2000 sq ft, 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, built in shelves in the kitchen, living room with wood burning fireplace, family room with gas burning fireplace, 2.5 car garage, with an inground pool. Our last trip through I should have taken some pictures for all to see, but I was far too busy trailing my friend Kenny through the house because he was sort of doing an "inspection", maybe he would see things we didn't. He too said the house was solid as a rock, saw nothing major other than cosmetic work and also suggested a new furnace, which is what the bank holding the short sale suggested also. It was a process just to get the loan, the bank demanded cash or a FHA 203K rehab loan. These loans basically let you do your remodeling and tag the cost onto the top of the loan. So there is no second loan/mortgage with a super high interest rate on the house, it is all bundled into one. The furnace alone is approx $5000, the outside needs to be scraped and painted, a few rooms painted, some windows resealed, and the pool opened and cleaned. We figure about $10,000 in work, but considering that this house is on the tax rolls for $160k and we are getting it for a little over half of that, the 10 grand in work won't matter.. it will make it all that much more better!

and I'm 37 years old. I've never been married, nor do I really care to ever be, but do have a boyfriend. Whom I mention now and then. I kind of keep him private because he doesn't like to be talked about "over the internet" as he puts it - paranoia who knows! My biggest hobby is sweepstakes and twitter parties. Over the course of my ramblings I'll mention sweepstakes, twitter parties, and mention the things I've won. I won't post any links for sweeps, but will direct you to the few bloggers I know that are awesome at keeping you up to date with new sweepstakes are out and will also point you in the right direction of bloggers who do great giveaways and twitter parties galore! Eventually I will get into reviewing things, for of course giveaways, but I need to build a following on my blog before I do so.
